This project in Folsom involved the complete demolition and rebuilding of two dangerously compromised decks, along with the structural reinforcement of a third. The existing wooden decks showed extensive dry rot and significant structural failure, which created a serious safety concern for the homeowner.

After a thorough inspection, our team determined that two decks required full replacement, while the third could be saved through heavy-duty reinforcement. We installed new joists alongside every original one for added strength and waterproofed the deck with tar paper before finishing it with Trex® composite for durability and aesthetics.

The newly rebuilt decks feature Trex® Tiki Torch boards and sleek black iron railings, providing both safety and modern curb appeal to this multi-level home. Despite the project’s size and complexity, we completed the job two days ahead of schedule.
